Play with the real world
The more and more mobile we get, the less time we'll spend getting our entertainment and news from our giant televisions and computer monitors.
Mobile, and mobility in general, is opening up new doors to how we interact with the real world. It's serving up a new opportunity. Mobile games like TheHiddenPark and Plundr, along with available technologies like Geo Caching, QR Codes, and Augmented Reality are just a few of the tangible examples working today. Tomorrow is wide open.
Seize the opportunity. Take Yelp for a quick example. Their iPhone app overlays local information via AR in an original and very exploratory way. It adds some fun to the real world experience. Imagine how much more interesting our cities, parks, museums, and retail experiences can be.
Right now, there are three choices when it comes to mobile in general:
1. Ignore it.
2. Do what everyone else does.
3. Be the first to do something amazing with it.
